Sept. 22, 2025 — WAIT UPON THE LORD (Isaiah 40:28-31; Luke 21:36)

In Isaiah 40:28-31, when it says, "those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power..." [Amplified Bible], that word "wait" in the Hebrew language is an "active word" - meaning it recurs all the time - over and over - but see: in the Amplified text it also says "expect, look for, hope in Him"!

So, when you get up in the morning and you hurt and you don't feel good, start your day with thanking God for that day. (His mercies are new every morning.) Pray before you ever get out of bed. He has made a covenant with us through the blood of Jesus Christ. Your offering is to sacrifice to Him your everyday life, especially when you don't feel it. (We don't live for Jesus Christ by our feelings, but by our faith in Him as the only Living God, the one true Savior of the world.)

I encourage you to lean in to hear the Holy Spirit of God move in your own spirit. Yield to the Lord in this way: "Lord, what do You want me to do or not do [in these situations] today?"

The Father calls us to repent (turn around toward Him - don't continue to rebel or "give Him your back") - and look to the opportunities He presents to you, understanding that, since you follow Jesus (who is persecuted), you will also experience persecutions on His behalf.

Luke 21:36 ---
"WATCH therefore, and PRAY ALWAYS that you may be counted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that will come to pass, and to STAND before the Son of Man.”

I thank God for you always ~~
